REAL SKILLS for REAL LIFE

To empower, strengthen and build the capacity of our community.

The GAME OF LIFE!

This isn’t school. It’s real life.
Game of Life is where 9–13 year olds get hands-on with practical skills that actually matter — like cooking, sewing, and creative problem-solving. Every session is different. Every activity builds confidence. No grades, no pressure — just real-world learning in a fun, supportive space.

Key takeaways...

🛠️ Life Skills That Stick

From cooking and sewing to creative challenges, every session is built around hands-on activities that teach real-world skills — the kind that last a lifetime.

🤝 Social & Emotional Learning

It’s more than just learning — it’s connecting. Participants build friendships, learn teamwork, and grow their confidence in a supportive, welcoming environment.

🌟 Self-Esteem in Action

We focus on progress, not perfection. Every session is designed to help participants feel capable, proud, and confident in what they can do.

Based on the Second Step framework

"The Game of Life" program is specifically designed to build the capacity of homeschool students aged 11-14, focusing on their social-emotional development and well-being. The program draws inspiration from the evidence-based Second Step Program, which has been proven effective in assisting students in handling strong emotions, making good decisions, creating strong friendships, and effectively managing conflicts.

Growing Up Ready: Preparing Kids for the Journey of Life

The core objective of "The Game of Life" is to seamlessly integrate the principles of the Second Step Program into a fun and exciting curriculum, ensuring that the participants are fully engaged and unaware that they are actively acquiring vital life skills. By blending the Second Step Program's proven methodologies with enjoyable activities, we aim to foster a positive learning environment that enables the participants to develop these crucial skills in an interactive and memorable manner.
